ADFP offers two levels of membership: Member and Associate Member.
Members are divorce financial planning practitioners that use the divorce financial planning process as defined by ADFP. They must charge a reasonable fee-for-service and cannot be compensated in other ways for providing divorce financial planning services. To be accepted as a member, applicants must provide evidence supporting satisfaction of certain educational, experience and ethical criteria.
Associate Members have a professional interest in divorce financial planning. They are, for example, studying to become or contemplating becoming divorce financial planning practitioners, are financial educators or otherwise provide adjunct, specialized or supporting services to the divorce financial planning community.
Right now because we are getting all members on a December calendar renewal basis Membership dues are $56.25 during September 2021 through November 30, 2021, payable by check or credit card (NOTE: paying by check will delay your membership until your check clears). Membership will be effective as of the date your application is accepted (not submitted) and renewed on December 1, 2021 at the regular yearly price of $225 and then they will be due annually on that date each year for as long as you are a member.
