ADFP Welcomes Janet Rhodes Friedman to the Board of Directors
The Association of Divorce Financial Planners is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Rhodes Friedman, CFP®, CDFA®, MBA to the Board of Directors. Janet has extensive experience, having served on the boards of more than ten non-profit organizations throughout her career. She has a deep interest in promoting the services a divorce financial planner provides to consumers, attorneys, mediators, and mental health professionals as well as educating other professionals and individuals about the complexity of divorce and why it is important to have specialized expertise.
Janet has been a member of ADFP since 2013 and has attended in-person conferences in Chicago (2013); New York City (2015); and Boston (2019) and all five of the ADFP Virtual Annual Retreats, which began in 2020 during the pandemic. Janet is also a graduate of MentorLink and regularly takes part in the monthly ADFP Support & Development groups.
Janet has been highly active in the ADFP for over a decade and is excited to be able to take on a leadership role within the organization.

I really enjoy working on divorce cases and helping individuals going through divorce. Serving on the ADFP board will help me make stronger connections in the ADFP and divorce planning community while broadening my expertise.”
