A Letter from the 2025 ADFP Co-Presidents

Dear Members of the ADFP Community,

We are excited to greet you on behalf of the entire Board of Directors as your Co-Presidents, Bob Bordett and Donna LaScala. Together, we are honored to serve and continue advancing the mission of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners.
 
As we look ahead to the future of our organization, we want to take a moment to introduce and acknowledge our dedicated board members: Lauren Desforge (Treasurer), Janet Rhodes Friedman (Secretary), Ivy Menchel, Traci Provost, and Lili Vasileff. Each of these individuals brings invaluable expertise, passion, and commitment to our mission of enhancing the financial well-being of families navigating divorce.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lili Vasileff for her exceptional leadership, vision, and tireless dedication to ADFP. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the organization, and we are grateful for her continued support as we build on her legacy. Lili continues to play an integral role to our organization as President Emeritus and we are proud to serve alongside her and the rest of the Board.

In 2025, we will continue to offer opportunities for professional development and networking with our monthly Support & Development Meetings and the continuation of our Lunch & Learn webinar series. We hope you will join us on October 9 - 10, 2025 for the ADFP 6th Annual Virtual Retreat, the premiere educational event for divorce financial planning professionals.

As we move forward, we encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback. Together, we can grow our professional community and provide even greater value to the families and professionals we serve.
